Usage การใช้
ละ means ‘per, each’. In everyday speech, the unit comes before ละ and the price after: กิโลละห้าสิบบาท ‘fifty baht a kilo’. ต่อ is more formal or written: ห้าสิบบาทต่อกิโลกรัม.

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
ต่อ is used in formal and technical contexts: ร้อยกิโลเมตรต่อชั่วโมง ‘100 km per hour’. In a market, ละ is much more natural.
