Structure โครงสร้าง
- … (ก่อน), แล้ว(ก็)ค่อย + V (and only then …)
- ค่อย + V + ทีหลัง (do it later)
- ค่อยยังชั่ว (that’s a relief / feeling better)
Usage การใช้
ค่อย before a verb means ‘then (later), afterwards, only after that’. It postpones the action: first do one thing, then do this.

- กินข้าวก่อนแล้วค่อยไป
Eat first, then go. - ไม่ต้องจ่ายตอนนี้ ค่อยจ่ายทีหลังก็ได้
You don’t have to pay now, you can pay later. - พรุ่งนี้ค่อยคุยกันนะ
Let’s talk about it tomorrow. - พอฝนหยุดแล้วค่อยออกไป
Go out once the rain stops.
Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
ค่อย (then, later) vs ค่อย ๆ (gradually, TG138) vs ไม่ค่อย (not very, TG093): these are three different uses.
