Usage การใช้
เท่าที่ means ‘as far as, to the extent that, as much as’. It sets a limit on what is said: เท่าที่รู้ ‘as far as I know’, เท่าที่จำได้ ‘as far as I remember’. It also means ‘as much as (possible)’: ช่วยเท่าที่ช่วยได้ ‘help as much as I can’.

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
- เท่าที่ vs ตามที่ (TG289): เท่าที่ limits the extent (‘as far as’); ตามที่ follows a source (‘as, according to’). ตามที่รู้มา ‘as I’ve learned’, เท่าที่รู้ ‘as far as I know’.
