Structure โครงสร้าง
- เอา + thing + มา (bring)
- เอา + thing + ไป (take)
- เอา + thing + ไป/มา + ด้วย (take/bring along)
Usage การใช้
เอา means ‘take hold of’. Followed by ไป or มา, it means ‘take (away)’ or ‘bring (here)’. Add ด้วย for ‘along with you’. For people, use พา (TG192).

- เอาร่มไปด้วยนะ ฝนจะตก
Take an umbrella, it’s going to rain. - พรุ่งนี้เอาหนังสือมาคืนด้วย
Bring the book back tomorrow. - ใครเอาปากกาผมไป
Who took my pen? - เอาน้ำมาให้หน่อย
Bring me some water, please.
Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
✗ Unnatural: ผมเอาเพื่อนไปทะเล
✓ Use instead: ผมพาเพื่อนไปทะเล (I took my friends to the beach.)
Why: เอา … ไป treats the friend as an object. Use พา for people.
