Usage การใช้
‘Terribly, extremely, so very’. It is emotional and a little literary, common with feelings and sensations (คิดถึง, เหนื่อย, ร้อน, ดีใจ) and in songs.

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
เหลือเกิน ‘extremely’ and เกินไป ‘too (much)’ both contain เกิน but mean different things. แพงเหลือเกิน is an exclamation (‘so expensive!’), while แพงเกินไป is a judgement that the price is a problem (‘too expensive for me’).
