ทีเดียว / เชียว
“Quite, really, indeed”; after an amount, เชียว means “that much!”
Structure โครงสร้าง
- Adj / V + ทีเดียว (quite, indeed)
- Adj / amount + เชียว (+ เหรอ / นะ)
Usage การใช้
ทีเดียว after an adjective is an emphatic ‘quite, really, indeed’. It often sounds like a considered or pleasantly surprised judgement: ไม่เลวทีเดียว ‘not bad at all’. It is fine in neutral or written style.
เชียว is colloquial emphasis. After an amount it shows surprise (‘that much!’). With นะ it adds force to a warning: อย่าบอกใครเชียวนะ.
