Structure โครงสร้าง
- N + เช่น + examples + (เป็นต้น)
- ยกตัวอย่างเช่น / อย่างเช่น + example (spoken)
Usage การใช้
เช่น means ‘for example, such as’. It gives some members of a group, not all of them. เป็นต้น at the end means ‘and so on, etc.’ and is typical of writing.
In speech, อย่างเช่น is common, often without เป็นต้น.
For a complete list, use ได้แก่ (TG302) instead.
