Structure โครงสร้าง
- N / topic + ล่ะ (what about …?)
- question word + ล่ะ (so …? / then …?)
- statement + ล่ะ (emphatic: ‘now’, ‘then’)
Usage การใช้
ล่ะ turns the conversation to a new topic or presses a question. แล้ว + N + ล่ะ means ‘and what about …?’.
With a question word it adds ‘then’ or ‘so’, showing the speaker needs an answer: ทำไมล่ะ ‘Why, then?’
After a statement, it marks a turn of events or a decision: ไปล่ะนะ ‘I’m off, then.’

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
ล่ะ vs ละ: ละ (without the tone mark) is the shortened form of แล้ว (TG116 ละกัน) or means ‘per’ (TG055). The questioning particle is written ล่ะ.
