Usage การใช้
ด้วย before a noun marks the instrument or means: กินด้วยช้อน ‘eat with a spoon’. In everyday speech, people often use ใช้ + tool + V instead: ใช้ช้อนกิน.

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
✗ Unnatural: ผมกินข้าวด้วยเพื่อน (meaning ‘I ate with my friend’)
✓ Use instead: ผมกินข้าวกับเพื่อน (I ate with my friend.)
Why: ด้วย is for tools and means. For people, use กับ (TG204).
- ด้วย at the end of a sentence means ‘too, also’, not ‘with’: ผมไปด้วย ‘I’m coming too.’
