- S + ชอบ + N (like something)
- S + ชอบ + V (like doing)
- S + ชอบ + V (tend to, often: usually something annoying)
Usage การใช้
ชอบ means ‘like’. It takes a noun or a verb directly: ชอบกาแฟ ‘like coffee’, ชอบฟังเพลง ‘like listening to music’.
It can also mean ‘tend to, have a habit of’, often for annoying habits: เขาชอบมาสาย ‘He’s always coming late.’

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
ชอบ (like) vs รัก (love): Thais use รัก for people and deep feelings. ‘I love Thai food’ is usually ชอบอาหารไทยมาก.
