Saying how near or far something is

- A + อยู่ใกล้ / อยู่ไกล + (จาก) B
- A + อยู่ห่างจาก + B + distance
- จาก A ไป B + กี่กิโล / ไกลไหม
Usage การใช้
ใกล้ ‘near’ and ไกล ‘far’ describe distance. ไกล usually takes จาก before the place; ใกล้ normally does not. ห่างจาก ‘away from’ is used with a measurement: ห่างจากที่นี่สองกิโล ‘two kilometres from here’.

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
- ใกล้จาก is not used: say ใกล้บ้าน, not ใกล้จากบ้าน.
✗ Unnatural: บ้านผมอยู่ใกล้จากตลาด
✓ Use instead: บ้านผมอยู่ใกล้ตลาด (My house is near the market.)
Why: ใกล้ takes the place directly. Only ไกล and ห่าง take จาก.
