Asking how long something lasts, or how much longer it will take
Structure โครงสร้าง
- V + นานเท่าไร ? (how long?)
- V + นานไหม ? (does it take long?)
- อีกนานเท่าไร / อีกนานไหม ? (how much longer?)
- V + มานานเท่าไร(แล้ว) ? (how long have you …?)
Usage การใช้
นานเท่าไร asks about the length of time something lasts. นานไหม is a yes/no version: ‘Is it long?’
อีก in front asks about the time remaining: อีกนานไหม ‘Is it much longer?’. มา … แล้ว asks how long something has continued until now (TG133).

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
For a precise length, กี่ + unit is also common: กี่ชั่วโมง ‘how many hours?’, กี่วัน ‘how many days?’ (TG074).
