ละกัน / แล้วกัน
“Let's just…”, settling on a choice and urging the other person to agree; in bargaining it makes a final offer (ร้อยบาทก็แล้วกัน “Let's say 100 baht”)
Structure โครงสร้าง
- choice + ละกัน / แล้วกัน (let’s just …, I’ll just …)
- price + ก็แล้วกัน (let’s say …, final offer)
Usage การใช้
ละกัน (from แล้วกัน) settles a choice after some hesitation and asks the listener to accept it: ‘let’s just …’, ‘I’ll go with …’, ‘okay then, …’. In bargaining it introduces a final offer.
Examples ตัวอย่างประโยค
- เอาอันนี้ละกัน
I’ll just take this one, then. - พรุ่งนี้ค่อยคุยกันแล้วกันนะ
Let’s just talk about it tomorrow, okay? - ร้อยบาทก็แล้วกัน
Let’s say 100 baht. (final offer) - ผมไปเองละกัน
I’ll just go myself, then.
Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
ละกัน sounds like a decision made after thinking it over, sometimes with a hint of ‘it’s not perfect, but fine’. In formal writing, use plain statements instead.
