Usage การใช้
กว่า after a number means ‘more than, over’: ร้อยกว่าคน ‘over a hundred people’. Its position matters with time and money: สองชั่วโมงกว่า ‘a little over two hours’, สองร้อยกว่าบาท ‘two hundred-odd baht’.

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
number + กว่า (approximate amount) vs มากกว่า + number (TG218): ร้อยกว่าคน ‘a hundred and something people’; มากกว่าร้อยคน ‘more than a hundred people’ (more formal, used in comparisons).
