เห็นจะ / ท่าจะ
“It seems, it looks like”
Structure โครงสร้าง
- ท่าจะ + V (looks like it will …)
- เห็นจะ + V (it seems, I suppose: old-fashioned)
- ท่าทาง(จะ) + V / Adj (looks like)
Usage การใช้
ท่าจะ means ‘it looks like, it seems that’, based on what you can see: ท่าจะฝนตก ‘looks like rain’. เห็นจะ is an older, more formal way to say ‘it seems / I suppose’. ท่าทาง (จะ) is the most common modern form.
Examples ตัวอย่างประโยค
- ท่าจะฝนตก
It looks like it’s going to rain. - ท่าทางเขาจะเหนื่อยมาก
He looks very tired. - เห็นจะต้องกลับก่อนแล้วล่ะ
It seems I’ll have to leave first. - งานนี้ท่าจะไม่เสร็จทันแน่
This work doesn’t look like it’ll be finished in time.
Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
ท่าจะ is based on what you see; คงจะ (TG165) is a general guess. ดูเหมือน(ว่า) (TG317) is a neutral ‘it seems that’.
