Parallel ก็ (บาง … ก็ …, … ก็ได้ … ก็ได้)
In parallel clauses ก็ links contrasting or alternative statements: “some …, others …”, “either … or …”
Structure โครงสร้าง
- บาง + CLF + ก็ + V, บาง + CLF + ก็ + V (some …, others …)
- A + ก็ได้ + B + ก็ได้ (either A or B)
- เดี๋ยวก็ + V, เดี๋ยวก็ + V (one moment …, the next …)
Usage การใช้
In two parallel clauses, each with ก็, Thai lists contrasting or alternating situations: ‘some …, others …’, ‘sometimes …, sometimes …’, ‘either … or …’.

- นักเรียนบางคนก็เก่ง บางคนก็ไม่เก่ง
Some students are good, some aren’t. - บางวันก็ร้อน บางวันก็หนาว
Some days are hot, some are cold. - จะไปวันเสาร์ก็ได้ วันอาทิตย์ก็ได้
We can go on Saturday or Sunday. - อากาศช่วงนี้ เดี๋ยวก็ร้อน เดี๋ยวก็หนาว
The weather lately is hot one moment and cold the next.
