หรือ
“Or” (choice)
Structure โครงสร้าง
- A + หรือ + B
- Choice question: … A หรือ B (no ไหม at the end)
- clause + หรือว่า + clause (spoken)
Usage การใช้
หรือ means ‘or’ and joins nouns, verbs or clauses.
In a choice question (‘A or B?’), หรือ alone makes it a question, so do not add ไหม.
Between two whole clauses, speakers often say หรือว่า.
หรือ at the very end of a sentence is a different use: a yes/no question tag (TG063).
