Structure โครงสร้าง
- วันที่ + number + (เดือน) + month + (พ.ศ. year)
- วันนี้วันที่เท่าไร ? (what’s the date today?)
- วัน + day name (วันจันทร์ = Monday)
Usage การใช้
Dates follow the order day – month – year: วันที่ 5 มีนาคม 2569. Thai uses the Buddhist Era (พ.ศ.), which is 543 years ahead of the Western year.
To ask the date, say วันนี้วันที่เท่าไร. To ask the day of the week, วันนี้วันอะไร.

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
วันที่ (date) vs วัน + name (day of the week): วันที่สิบ ‘the 10th’, วันจันทร์ ‘Monday’.
Month names ending in -คม have 31 days, -ยน have 30, and กุมภาพันธ์ (February) has 28 or 29, which helps you remember them.
