Structure โครงสร้าง
- S + เกือบ (จะ) + V (almost did)
- เกือบ + number / amount (nearly)

Usage การใช้
เกือบ means ‘almost, nearly’. Before a verb, it means the action almost happened but didn’t: เกือบลืม ‘I almost forgot (but didn’t)’. Before an amount it means ‘nearly’: เกือบร้อยคน ‘nearly a hundred people’.

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
เกือบ (almost: didn’t quite happen) vs จวนจะ (TG141, about to: will happen soon): เกือบตก ‘almost fell (but didn’t)’; จวนจะถึง ‘about to arrive’.
