Usage การใช้
‘Actually, in fact’. It introduces the real situation, usually one that contrasts with how things look, with what was said, or with what the listener expects. It goes at the beginning of the clause.

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
Compare with จริง ๆ after an adjective, which means ‘really’ (TG235). ‘Really?’ as a question is จริงเหรอ, not จริง ๆ แล้วเหรอ.
✗ Unnatural: ผมไม่ชอบจริง ๆ แล้วเผ็ด
✓ Use instead: จริง ๆ แล้วผมไม่ชอบเผ็ด (Actually, I don’t like spicy food.)
Why: จริง ๆ แล้ว opens the clause.
