“Want (to have) something”. อยาก is followed by a verb; for a thing, use อยากได้

- S + อยากได้ + N + แบบ … (want a N like …)
Usage การใช้
อยากได้ means ‘want (to get / to have)’ and is followed by a noun. อยาก alone needs a verb (TG158).

Subtle differences ข้อสังเกต
✗ Unnatural: ผมอยากรองเท้าใหม่
✓ Use instead: ผมอยากได้รองเท้าใหม่ (I want new shoes.)
Why: อยาก needs a verb. With a noun, use อยากได้.
When ordering food or choosing in a shop, เอา (TG174) is more natural: เอาอันนี้ ‘I’ll take this one.’
