เอา + N (want / take)

“I'll take, I want” when ordering or choosing. อยาก takes a verb, เอา takes a noun, ต้องการ takes either

Structure โครงสร้าง

  • เอา + N (+ number + CLF) (I’ll take / I want: choosing, ordering)
  • ไม่เอา (I don’t want it, no thanks)
  • เอา + N + มา / ไป (bring / take: TG194)

Usage การใช้

เอา + noun is the everyday way to say ‘I’ll take, I want (this)’ when ordering or choosing: เอาเบียร์สองขวด ‘Two beers.’ ไม่เอา is a common casual ‘no thanks’.

Compare: อยาก + verb (want to do), อยากได้ + noun (want to have), ต้องการ (formal want / need), เอา + noun (I’ll take it).
